Hi Jose – I have just lost a lot of weight in the last six month and I have noticed sore gums receding gums not bleeding. But they are very sore can you tell me what is wrong? Fluoride toothpaste makes me sick when I use it I can only use Euthomol I’m really worried because my teeth are my most important feature! thanks any information would be great!

Hi, can you help please. I had a pain on the left side of my mouth, I think I had a small ulcer which has now gone by using an antibacterial mouthwash. However the pain is now the right side {top} of my mouth. The pain is quite bad when I chew. I cant quite pinpoint whether it’s my teeth or gums which are hurting. I’m unable to feel a hole in the tooth, I do not have any redness, swelling or abcess on the gum. Is there anything I can try before I see my dentsist? Thank you in advance

Hello Jose, hope your doing well. I’m just a bit concerned about my daughters gums, she really doesn’t eat a balanced diet with fruit and veg and i know this can be bad for teeth and gums. We try so hard to make her eat the healthy stuff but she wont have it. Just wondering if there are any tablets or vitamins that would help her a little bit with what she’s lacking? I notice when she brushes her teeth a touch of blood sometimes comes out, this can’t be a good sign! Look forward to hearing from you!

Hi. Im 15 years old and have found that I have what looks to be like a rash on my gums. I need braces and my teeth are all over the place this rash apeared between 2 of them. Im just wondering if there is anything I can do to stop this. I brush my teeth 2 Times a day for 3 minutes so it is not that I am not minding my teeth any help that u can provide at all would be helpful I have only noticed this yesterday and I dont think it is very serious as it is not sore and is not swollen

Hi, I have on several occasions visited my dentist about a hole before my front bottom teeth. His advise was to use corsdyl mouth wash as well as corsdyl brushes for between my teeth.
After 6 month this problem is still there and my gums are bleeding more as im only 30 I am starting to panic that I may lose my teeth.
Please could you advise me on where to go now as I feel my dentist is not taking me serious.

Hi Dr I’m currently receiving gum and teeth treatment at my local dental clinic. I have had a few teeth pulled because of my gum’s. I have had my teeth scaled top and bottom in four stage’s can you tell me please if having your teeth scaled can do more damage than good if you already have a slight gum problem ? And if I already have a crown but have lost the root of the tooth it’s fitted to is there another way I could keep it attached to my gum ? Without having to replace it with a denture.?

what can i do to stop my gums from bleeding when im brushing more regular brushing maybe ? is this normal or does it mean i have a problem help !!!! also are their any products on the market which can stop gum disease full stop because i hate that copper taste i just want it gone. Hi I’m really fed up I’m now on my 4th course of antibiotics from my dentist for an abscess caused by fractured root on old root treated back upper molar. She tried taking it out 2 weeks ago but couldn’t get it numb as I can only have non adrenaline local due to reaction with normal one. After that she gave me more antibiotics for another week and I went back the other day hoping she’d would take it out but she just said she would have to refer me to hospital as she’s not allowed to give me stronger type without adrenaline, only hospital can. I’m now at my wits end. Every time i finish course the tooth starts to flare up few days later & just found that hospital can take 12 weeks for appointment. This infection isn’t going until this tooth is out and now she wont try again & i may have 2 wait 12 weeks(I’ve also been suffering with & treated for cluster migraine by GP for last 2 months could this be related?) Are there any dental surgeries that are capable of more complex extractions? Even if I pay privately? or how can I speed up hospital waiting time? Surely they can’t expect me to take antibiotics for another 3months? Your advice would be much appreciated.

Hi,
I notice small swollens on my gum on the upper left teeth. Which i did not even feel until my finger goes into my mouth. It is not painful except i touched it hard with my finger . It never gives any discomfort whatsoever. Is it an infection or gum disease. What treatment do you recommend.
I brush my teeth regularly and has been taken my hygiene seriously. Though i have a tooth removed due to absceess two years ago . Since then i have seen the dentist for general checking and cleaning. And it has been ok. But few days ago i was trying to remove some reminanant of food from the corner of my mouth and suddenly notice swollen which was painless except touched very hard. I do not normally feel anything except i put my finger in my mouth. It has not cause me any pain what soever . I feel like the swollen is gradually subsiding but i still feel i should see the dentist because the teeth is due for cleaning as well.
