I had a pain on the left side of my mouth now it has moved to the right side, im unable to see any signs of damage, what should i do?

Q.
Hi, can you help please. I had a pain on the left side of my mouth, I think I had a small ulcer which has now gone by using an antibacterial mouthwash. However the pain is now the right side {top} of my mouth. The pain is quite bad when I chew. I cant quite pinpoint whether it’s my teeth or gums which are hurting. I’m unable to feel a hole in the tooth, I do not have any redness, swelling or abcess on the gum. Is there anything I can try before I see my dentsist? Thank you in advance
A.
No, not really, it may be another mouth ulcer at a different location. They can sometimes recur in a short time period…
However, my recommendation is for you to see your dentist for a quick check.Thank you for your question, Best Regards Jose
