How can I stop my teeth being wobbly?

Q.
Good day to you Doctor, I can’t say that I looked after my teeth very well when I was younger because I didn’t and now as a result my adult teeth are becoming very wobbly, and my gums have receded a fair bit in addition to this. However, there not as wobbly as they use to be so Iam wondering if theres anything that I can do to reverse these affects? and if not then what do I do to stop them getting any worse than what they are? Many thanks for your time
A.
If you have experienced bone loss around your teeth and that is probably the reason why they are wobbly you cannot reverse the effects (“bring the bone back”). Nevertheless you can prevent any further deterioration and keep your teeth stable by maintaining your gums healthy with good oral hygiene and a good supportive care from your dentist/hygienist. They can supervise and monitor your progress and provide treatment if necessary.
