My gums bleed after brushing, should I be worried?

Hi, when i brush my teeth i have noticed that my gum starts to bleed in the same place..it dosent not bleed after i have brushed my teeth however there is a little redder part of the gum..can you help?

It seems that your gum is inflamed in that specific site and the most likely explanation is that you have gingivitis caused by plaque. It may be your brushing technique is not effective or has not been consistently good in the past and some plaque may be hidden under the gums. If the bleeding continues for several days despite your efforts to clean the problematic area you should seek advice from your dentist/hygienist to make sure that your brushing and flossing are adequate and that the problem is not more significant. You may also need some professional cleaning to remove possible deposits that may be hard or inaccessible to you.
