Is working long hours the cause of my sore mouth?

Q.
Hi, Iam just wondering if I have gum disease because recently the roof of my mouth has been really sore and the skins coming off it. However i brush my teeth twice a day with a sonic toothbrush as my gums dont bleed so is this gum disease or could it be stress linked with starting a new job were Iam working around 70hours a week?? thanks for your time to read this

What you are describing does not sound like one of the classic forms of gum disease. I would what to know how long this has been going on and what it looks like. I would ask your dentists to have a look and make a diagnosis. Gum disease is quiet easy to diagnose and if it is not that and your dentist does not know what it is then you are probably better being referred to an Oral Medicine specialist rather than an Periodontist.

Stress/long hours could easily be playing its part in your sore mouth. Ultimately, this is not a question easily answered without seeing you. I would encourage you to go to your dentist and discuss this with them. Sorry I cannot be of any more help.
