How can I cure my gum disease at home?

Q.
Hello I’m sorry to sat that I think I’ve got gum disease and would therefore like to know how to cure it in your opinion. What will be best for me in your opinion, using salt water or salt, baking soda and hydrogen peroxide? and how much do I use of each when I am making this up? Also what the best toothpaste to use to prevent it coming back? are there any special procduts out there to help me?
A.
First you need to visit your dentist to confirm that you have gum disease and identify the type (aggressive or chronic, localized or generalized, moderate or severe) so that you receive adequate treatment for your condition. The standard way of treatment gum disease is mechanical removal of soft plaque and hard deposits sometimes with the help of antimicrobials. Certain products used to rinse are only adjunctive measures that can help in specific situations but they do not cure gum disease.
