What should I do about my swollen gums?

Q.
My gum is swollen at the bottom of my mouth.it’s not painful, bit I get embarrassed if I have to smile as it shows up.
A.
The gums can grow for various reasons. One of them is inflammation caused by plaque that may result in gum disease, and it is important to assess that this is not your case. I advise you to see your dentist and make sure that your gums are healthy. If this is the case and still you are unhappy with the way they look there are predictable techniques that can be used to reshape your gums and improve the appearance of your smile. Again you can ask your dentist for further information after examination or look for specialist assessment.
