My daughters gums bleed despite regular cleaning and the dentist wont help?

Q.
my daughter has bleeding gums she cleans her teeth and uses mouth wash for her gums but they are not improving . The dentist she visits just shouts at her making her afraid to visit him now . he has said that after ex rays there is a problem they are very sore and sometimes she just touches them and they bleed is there anything else she could do to clear her gums . the dentist wont give her antibiotics to see if they would help
A.
Healthy gums do not bleed when we brush our teeth. It is obvious that your daughter has a gum problem. Gum treatment is what your daughter needs but this needs to done according to a diagnosis. The likely cause of her gum disease is the presence of bacteria and calculus under the gums. The treatment may require local anesthesia. Antibiotics are not the answer if there is no evidence of an acute infection.
I advise you to look for a second and/or specialist opinion. hope this helps, Dr Jose Zurdo
