I’av had a blister in my mouth for 2years, what is it?

Q.
I have a small blister on my gum which I have had for about 2 years.
When I apply a pressure to it via my finger the liquid inside it escapes possibly through one of my teeth & I get an unpleasant taste in the area of the tooth.
I do not get any pain in my gum or teeth.
What is causing this blister to keep coming up & how can I stop it happening?
Regards
A.
Hi, The likelihood is that this is a draining sinus, effectively a release valve for infection. It is also highly likely that this infection relates to a tooth that has either had trauma or a big filling or crown leading to the nerve dying off in the tooth. You will need to see you dentist to have X-rays taken to confirm the diagnosis but the most likely treatment options are extraction or root canal treatment of the affected tooth. There are other things that could cause this, however, the dead nerve and infection is the most likely.
