hello there dr Dunn i hope you can help me. I have for the past 3-4 months been suffering with a pain at the back of my mouth that has got progressively worse as time has gone to the point where it hurts all the time now, and I’m having difficulty eating as its so sore. There’s also a nasty taste in my mouth. Is this a sign of gum disease? I have looked at my gums and they dont look red and they arent sore but something is making my whole mouth hurt. Can you explain this for me. Thanks,

Hello there, This does not sound like gum disease and may be due to an erupting wisdom tooth. I would have a general dentist look at this. I hope this helps, and Good luck
