Hi there, I have a problem and I hope you can help – My gums bleed at any given time, even when I am just sitting at my desk. When i wake up in the morning, my mouth is brown because my gums have bled through the night. I have regular dental and hygiene appointments.I have now found a brown spot on my tongue and my cheek at the other side? can you please help? i am constantly using mouthwash and was wondering if this is the cause of the brown spots? could that possibly be burning my mouth with the chemicals? Now i have gone on to using mouthwashes without alchohol in them. Thanks

It is impossible to comment on the brian spot without seeing it. If you dentist does not know what it is ask for a referral to someone who does. regarding the bleeding, that is not right or acceptable and you obviously need further treatment. Again, ask for a referral if they cannot do it!
