Q.
I seem to have Gingivitis gum disease, i have bleeding gums after i brush my teeh and i also have swollen gums all the time which are very tender which pressure is applied, i was wondering if there was any medication to help my problem as i am a young adult and is very embarrsing when i talk because i have such small teeth now from where the gums have been swollen, i also wear braces and was wondering if that was the problem also i have tryed using corsodyl.

Gingivitis is the most likely diagnosis but you should ask your Orthodontist or dentist to confirm this, If it is the case then it will all resolve within 7-10 days of you cleaning things better, The braces are probably making access for cleaning a little difficult but you should ask you dentist or hygienist to show you how to clean properly with the braces on and it will go away. Expect some bleeding on the first 3-4 days but this should reduce within 7-10 days.
