I have a loose tooth can i use a mouth wash to tighten the gums?

Q.
Hi there experts, over the past few months my teeth have started to become more and more wobbly and my bum have started to blleed, in result I have started brushing my teeth more, I am now doing it twice a day as before I forgot to do it at night most off the time.So in summary my question is, I have a loose tooth can i use a mouth wash to tighten the gums?
A.
In a word, No!

There are a number of reasons why a tooth may be loose and you need to get the cause diagnosed. It could be caused by gum disease, it could be caused by tooth grinding, it could be caused by infection.

If you have Periodontal Disease then mouth wash can only have a mild effect on superficial inflammation and will not treat the underlying cause. If you have a loose tooth you will need to seek professional treatment to establish the cause, extent and treatment options for this tooth and others. Whilst it is not impossible for gum disease to affect one tooth, it is far more likely to be affecting other teeth.
