I had a tooth extracted yesterday due to horrendous stabbing pains but no damage or decay, my other teeth feel squidgy so I am wondering if my other teeth are infected?

Hi, I have just had a tooth extracted yesterday and I am now wondering if my other teeth are also affected. I have what feels like squidgy teeth and this is still there now the affected tooth has been removed.

Suffered from 26th Nov 2011 with the tooth horrendous stabbing pain yet no known cause. No obvious damage or decay. Tooth felt loose and with pressure the pain was often very acute. This settled a little however then an abcess occurred leading to removal of the tooth. 2 of the 3 roots had rotted away. However now the next but one tooth to it still doesn’t feel right and I am terrified the problem is occurring in these other teeth now too.

You need to get this checked by the dentist who did they extraction as they will know what was there before. It may well be that you have a post extraction infection but it could be something else. Ask your dentist, they will have the X-rays.
