I believe i have gum disease. The bottom gum bleeds and is really sore. The gum seems to have started to come away from the tooth. I am really scared and dont no what to do because i have no dentist. I have started cleaning teeth twice a day, would that help. I am seeing the doctor monday to see if he can get me anything is there anything i should get or help to make it better please.

I would need more information to advise fully i.e. age, bone levels (based on x-rays) and other things. It does sound like you have localised gum recession and as such this is different from gum disease. Have a look at the recession page on this website for more info. The main thing to do is to clean the area properly but I would stress that you need to see your dentist who may need to refer you so someone who can correct this. Your doctor will not be able to help with this problem. Good luck with it!
