The antibiotics I am on for my gum disease don’t seem to be working, what can I do?

hi, last week I had an infection in my tooth and had antibiotics to treat it, couple of days later I came down with tonsilitus bad and again given more antibiotics, today when I woke up my gums had shootin pains and through the day it’s got worse, it is full of ulcers and red spots and the tooth that was infected has gone realy sensitive, I tried eating tomato soup earlier but had 2 mouthfuls and it burnt all my mouth and made more ulcers. I don’t kno what to do and my mouth is agony. the antibiotics I’m on are co-amoxiclav. please help

This does not sound like classic gum disease, there may even be two things going on here. You describe a tooth infection which may require root canal treatment or extraction. The painful gums and ulcers could be one of many things and could relate to you being run down. You need to see a dentist to get a proper diagnosis and appropriate treatment.
