Hello Dr Mitsas, I want to know what treatment I would need to take to stop my teeth from coming loose. Some of my teeth are loose and also missing. I want to replace them so that I can smile again. I am 28 year old and I do not know why this happening. I have visited some dentists and they do not know what I can do and don’t offer me any treatment. Please help me. I’ve Recently Become Pregnant And I Want To Protect Against Gum Disease As Best As I Can, What Can You Suggest?

Hello, I have just found out that I am pregnant. I have been told and witnessed my other pregnant friend’s teeth deterioration during their pregnancies. Two of them suffered from gum disease too. I don’t want this to happen to me, can you please suggest something that will improve and maintain my oral health during pregnancy please? Do you think I’ll have to visit my hygienist more often? At 13 is it normal to have gum disease and what should I do?

Hello Dr Ian Dunn and I am twelve years old and thirteen in April. My dentist has just told me I have gum disease, severe gum disease to the lower mouth. I have two questions: is it normal for someone my age to get gum disease? And what can I do to treat it and prevent getting it again? I know there is already information on this website but I really need some advice. To be honest I’m scared.

Will my sons get gum disease because their dad has it?

Hi, gum disease runs in my husbands side of the family and we have two young boys together. Iam just wondering if there’s anything I can do to prevent them from getting it or at least reducing their risks? If it helps they are 3 and 4 years old, hardly every have sweets and eat and drink yoghurts and milk regularly. is there anything else I can do?
