Q.
Hi, I have an unpleasant breath and bleeding gums even after brushing my teeth the teeth looks clean but the bad breeth is always there and this has been going on for years and i cant face people to talk to them can this be treated and how? I think it may be untreated gum diseases or tooth decay that has been on my teeth for years am not sure,  but I would like to know if this could be treated please?

There are several potential causes for bad breath, and some of them are not related to the mouth. Nevertheless, the most common one is probably gum disease. You should seek a dental examination to diagnose the state of your teeth and gums and receive appropriate treatment. This is a sensible course of action in any case. If despite having or achieving a healthy state in your mouth you still experience bad breath you should seek the opinion of your GP to explore other sources.
